I'd like to see if anyone in Boston is interested in getting together and singing Beatles songs with acoustic accompaniment. We would meet every 6 weeks or so, at a local pub, on a Saturday afternoon from 2-5. Beer optional, but it helps! I run a Beatles and Beer group in Providence and it's a lot of fun; looking to see if there is interest in Boston, since I spend time there as well. Let's get together and sing! Cheers, Jenn

This is a group for people interested in hanging out, drinking different kinds of beer, and discussing their perspectives on life. Each week we choose a topic and a new kind of beer to try out. We hear a 5 min presentation of the subject and then we discuss it. This group is for people from any faith or non-faith background. It's mostly about having a good time and getting to know people who like to think while they drink. We meet on the second and fourth Thursday of the month.
Country Music kicks ass! But it's really, really hard to find a place not only to hear Country, but also dance to it. This meetup gets people together who love listening to country music, love hanging out with friends and drinking beer (preferably out of mason jars), and who wanna dance to it! Line dancing may not have such a great vibe here in MA, but when you do it with a bunch of friends in a bar with lots of beer, it catches on and everyone has a great time.

In the words of Jack Nicholson, are you 'Suckered in, set up, pushed around?' Don't worry, whatever you've been doing thus far is not As Good as It Gets. Are you saddled with an active brain, a healthy dose of cynicism, a great sense of humor with a sharp wit (maybe even some acerbic sarcasm), bit of shyness, possibly a latent mental disorder or two, some good old fashioned baggage, and perchance stuck between arrogance and lacking self-confidence? Do others see you as aloof but in reality, you …

Comics are brilliant. They are also an overlooked and under-appreciated part of the literary establishment, so we're looking to redress the balance a little. This group will work pretty much like a traditional book club - we pick a new graphic novel or collection every month, read it and meet up for a discussion over coffee or a beer. We're going to try to find the literary corners of the graphic storytelling medium - I'm interested in how art style informs character perception; how panel layout …
