Thirsty Thursday "Sport" and Sociaaaaaaaaal! Cornhole, anyone??

Week 2 of the Sport and Sociaaaaaal! Congratulations to Week 1's Bocce winners Jim and Elaine - the 8th St. Bawlers. Best name went to our Organizer Mindy and her partner John - the DESIGNATED DRIVERS.

This week will will be Cornhole aka a bean bag toss. Check out the website www.playcornhole.org

Following weeks may include: Volleyball, Quoits, Croquet, Horseshoes, Badmington - heck, how about a hula hooping competition! No experience necessary and totally just for FUN!

The 1st place team (as determined by points) will win a $25 Brew Works gift certificate. The team with the best name as determined by the bartender, manager and head chef will each receive a Brew Works pint glasses.

Thursday's specials include a $2 beer (usually Wit, which I think is currently sold out so they'll substitute it with the Brewer's choice) and $4 long island ice teas (not to mention the $5 food and drink specials until 7). There is also $5 1/2 lb. peel and eat shrimp and $5 for a pound of clams.

The Brew Works will reserve tables on the BACK patio of the restaurant for us so you can enjoy a frosty beverage while you play this week!

Location: Der Biergarten at the Allentown Brew Works.

Team "pick-up" and registration from 6 to 6:30 (come as a team or we'll match you up). Games begin at 6:30!
