Hi Everyone,
Ron Smith here. I'm one of Chris' Beer Meetup Asst Organizers for things like this. Sorry for the late notice, but this just got pulled together at the last minute. Regardless, feel free to join in the fun on Saturday, 7th / Today. It is National Teach A Friend to Homebrew Day, sponsored by the American Homebrewers Association (AHA). I did this last year and several of you Beer Meetup folks joined us and really enjoyed it. We are an official AHA Brewing Site, and there will be multiple people brewing beer and there will be a communal table for various food and beer (both homebrewed and commercial). Feel free to bring something interesting to contribute, but most importantly, just bring yourself.
Things are getting kicked off around 10:00 am and will continue most of the day, probably winding down around 4:00 or so. Dress for the weather, which is supposed to be very nice.
My home is in Long Branch Estates, which is between Michigan Road and Shelborne on 116th Street (in the Carmel / Zionsville area). Turn right at the pool house and we are the 3rd house on the right. 3793 Castle Rock Drive, Zionsville, IN 46077. You can reach me at [masked] or Mob: 201-6535. No need to RSVP. No fees. Come and go as you please. Very informal, fun day of brewing and sampling. Anyone interested in brewing and craft beer is welcome to attend.
Also, my Beer MBA beer appreciation classes are starting back up, so check out www.BeerMBA.com to learn more about those. I have one starting in 2 weeks and it would be great to get a lot of the Beer Meetup people in it.
Hopefully several of you can make it out on Saturday. Don't worry if you don't know anyone. I promise you will won't be a stranger longer than about 5 seconds. Beer people are like that! :)
Thanks,
Ron Smith
