Flying Saucer Turnout

I want to address some of the comments about Wednesday night. I was in fact there. I did not show up until around 8. I was in Fuquay-Varina finalizing a contract for a client and the meeting lasted longer than I had hoped. If this caused confusion for anyone, I'm sorry. I had hoped that in case I was late, an assistant organizer could help out, but there wasn't one there that night. We had a room reserved in the back and I specifically asked Flying Saucer to direct anyone who asked about the meetup to the back room. I also mentioned in an e-mail and in the posting on the website that we would be meeting in a reserved room. I'm sorry for any confusion.

I also noticed a comment about everyone sitting at tables. I agree that seemed to make it a less open and sociable environment. I'm not sure what else to do when we meet at Flying Saucer. If anyone has a suggestion, please offer it. It seems like with 30 or so people coming out, the back room is the best spot for us. Because of the setup of that room, people are going to tend to sit down rather than stand around. I will do my best in the future to help keep things more sociable. I will also do my best to be on time, but I am a realtor. I can't guarantee what my schedule will be like. Anyone who wants to help as an assistant organizer, please let me know. I can use your help. Cassandra is a great assistant organizer, but can't always be there. Which was the case the other night.
