Beer on the Pier

I'm not going to be attending the Beer on the Pier event, but there's no reason there can't be a meetup there anyway.

For those not familiar (which includes myself, this is one Chicago beer event I haven't made it to yet) Beer on the Pier is an event held on Navy Pier. There are two separate 4 hour sessions. The tickets are $40 in advance or $50 at the door (though it's possible they'll sell out beforehand; I have no idea if tickets are still available or not). The price is said to include unlimited beer samples, food, and music.

So I'm wondering

• Is anybody planning on attending?
  
• Will enough people be attending to make an event of it?
  
• Would anybody like to volunteer to wear a name tag or a funny hat or hold a sign or in some other way indicate to the world that you are the meetup group?
